Originally from Tokoroa in the South Waikato, Haylie has lived in Tauranga since 2002. She gained a Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging from UNITEC in Auckland and did her clinical training at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland. Shortly after completing her degree she was offered a training position at National Women's Hospital in Greenlane, Auckland where she worked whilst studying towards her DMU (Diploma of Ultrasound in Medicine). Since then she has worked locally here in Tauranga, taking a short break to travel overseas with her family, and working in Australia before returning home to Tauranga. Haylie is highly experienced in many areas of Ultrasound. She has special interest in all areas of Pregnancy/Obstetrics Ultrasound, and Musculoskeletal scanning. Haylie is hoping to continue further study in Echocardiography.
